Do not take any night classes. You think you're a night owl, but all your friends are making friends in the afternoon and at night, so do yourself a favor and leave yourself free.
Don't ever pay a cent for Pick-a-Prof, or any such programs. The really awful teachers have only been on campus a semester or two anyway, so there isn't much information about them on Pick A Prof
General Bookstore has the same price for books as the KSU bookstore, save some very rare exceptions and those are always in the upper level classes. I promise. Save yourself the gas, and get to know the campus better.
You can sell your books back at the end of the semester. They only take a certain number of each book back at KSU and General Bookstore, so if you want your book taken back (especially for the most money) sell it as soon as you don't need it. That's right after the final.
Campus food is expensive. Alternate eating on campus with bringing your own lunch. No! Don't heat it up in that fly filled microwave in the lunchroom. The JEHP Lounge has a clean microwave you can use, and even a mini-fridge.
