High School
When deciding whether to join the JEHP or not, thinking about to what degree you're ready to leave this part of your life behind for your educational betterment is a turbulent decision. Remember, you can choose how many classes you want to take at Kennesaw State and whether you'll take them in the morning or at night.
Extra Curriculars
Many joint enrollment students have given up their favorite extracurricular activities for college. Many classes have to be at a certain period of the day, where it's very odd to schedule college classes around unless you take night classes (which you can, you just don't want to). When trying to schedule your class times, here are the average time slots for Kennesaw State University with each class lasting usually an hour and fifteen minutes: 8am, 9:30am, 11am, 12:30pm, 2pm, 3:30pm, 5pm. There are also classes throughout into the night, but it follows that pattern. Remember: not every class you want will be available at every time slot. Working more intensive extracurriculars like band and football is nearly impossible, but other clubs possibly still can be accomplished with a smart scheduler.
Friends
Your high school friends will act in a while range of ways depending on how you act towards the program and also how many classes you take. Students who take one or two classes at Kennesaw menchion it's as if their friends don't even notice that they're gone. Three or four classes, and friends may simply replace you or may try to hold you back and feel left behind. You may not have classes with a lot of them and if you plan on staying close when most of your classes are at Kennesaw, you will have to make a bigger effort.
